Ampcor II, Inc., and Kriterion, Inc., LaPorte-based manufacturers of
quality hardware for the casket industry, were featured on Pat Summerall's
'Champions of Industry' on Wednesday, August 18. The companies was featured
in a two-minute segment between 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. EDT on the national
cable network, MSNBC.
Presented
by Pat Summerall Productions, 'Champions of Industry' showcases video
of the best and brightest businesses in today's global marketplace.
Hosted by legendary CBS and current FOX play-by-play personality Pat
Summerall, the segment will focus on an overview of the companies and
their strong status in the industry.
David Christian,
president and CEO of Ampcor II, said that they were honored to be included
among businesses such as Ericksson, Inc., The Chinet Company and Lo-Jack
Corporation who have been featured in past 'Champions' shows.
"We're
very pleased to be in such esteemed company and are excited about our
upcoming appearance on MSNBC," said Christian. "The fact that we were
